pxe booting proxmox 4

Someone had luck booting proxmox 4 from pxe ?

I tried some configs found in this forum for v3 but seems not works (https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/proxmox-installation-via-pxe-solution.8484/)

Are you trying to boot the installer or an installed image? What is the problem? Should be as straight forward as ordinary network boot in Debian, shouldn't it?

Is not as debian install, you need to insert iso to initrd file.

Yes, you're right. you have to patch the install routine manually. It always tries to find a CD.

Yet i would suggest to convert to squashfs and mount that from NFS as an ordinary Debian would do.

Hi ...
i successfully got it till the point that the installer boots up and the install is finished -
but i cannot boot from the freshly installed server.
It seems to fail to put GRUB in place.
tried several machines with different drives - nu luck so far.

i followed the link within https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/proxmox-installation-via-pxe-solution.8484/page-2#post-107938
which guides you to this pve-iso-2-pxe-script.

any ideas?
