pveproxy : /var/log/daemon.log.1 instead of /var/log/daemon.log

Hi,
I try to configure fail2ban for pveproxy annd find this : http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Fail2ban .
No problem until this point execpt that /var/log/daemon.log is empty! But /var/log/daemon.log.1 is not...
I don't have made change on logrotate given by proxmox. I already restar firewall-logger and pveproxy.

So I would like to know a few thing :

1. Where the log of pveproxy is configured ?
2. What did I need to reload/restart to let them use /var/log/daemon.log ?

1. check /etc/rsyslog.conf
2. service rsyslog [reload|restart]

btw: log.1 2 3 ... n is created by logrotate
