Hey guys ,

I'm having a strange issue with the latest verson of prox.
When installing new CEPH nodes, the ones that i have are using "jwel", but the ones just installed and upgraded, give out the following error :
#####

root@ceph07:~# pveceph install --version jewel

400 Parameter verification failed.

version: value 'jewel' does not have a value in the enumeration 'hammer'

pveceph install [OPTIONS]

######

Did i missed someting in the tutorial ?? ( this one : https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Ceph_Server )

Many thanks !

On another note, i just created a separat cluster to test ceph, and ceph only. I added 2 nodes , and after setting repository for ceph to "
deb http://download.ceph.com/debian-jewel jessie main" , after some time, or a reboot, it gets back to "
deb http://download.ceph.com/debian-hammer jessie main" . Why is the cluster resseting this file back, when it was just created by me and updated ?? ( the file ceph.list DID NOT exist in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ right after a fresh install )

Many thanks !

Hi,

when you have no jewel as install option, then you have to update your system.
