I was on 6.8.12.25 that worked and 6.8.12.29 won't boot after upgrade. The screen goes instantly to standby mode.

I have to manually select 6.8.12.25 upon reboot.

Anyway to solve that ?

But if you want to know why 6.8.12.29 doesn't boot, check journalctl -b -1 for any relevant (error) messages. (Change -1 to the amount of boots backwards that you tried to boot 6.8.12.29.)

Understanding the boot journal is above my paygrade.
If I understand correctly, the last comment on the bugzilla link says that it should be fixed on the next Ubuntu baseline update. Isnt't Proxmox based on Debian ?

Anyhow, just by the journalclt, can you quickly check if it is the same problem or if I should file a report at Bugzilla ?

Thanks again

I do have pci passthrough.

Here is my journal.

our base OS is based on Debian, but the kernel packages are based on Ubuntu's.

please try the -30 kernel available on pvetest!
