[SOLVED] PVE5 - Problem when send mail to root

Hi,

I have installed a new cluster (3 nodes) in PVE5. All road fine except with mail alert. If I send a mail with the mail command to my email address no problem but if I send a mail to root (managed by /usr/bin/pvemailforward) and correctly configured to my real mail address, the mail doesn't arrive and I see that in syslog : (I have remplaced my real domain to DOMAIN)

I have checked, in users.cfg, my real email address is correctly configured for user root@pam

mhmm is the name of the file users.cfg or user.cfg? (it has to be user.cfg)

can you check if the mail is available in the gui? (datacenter -> users -> root)

The name of the file is user.cfg. In the webgui, all is correct for the user root (I see my name and my email address)

please try the following command, it should fix the problem:
chmod g+s /usr/bin/pvemailforward

we have a fix for this on the way
