PVE randomly lost network connection and can recover after a few seconds

Hi, Gentlemans

I use PVE as my home server. After I configured 5 VMs, I found PVE would lost connection for a few seconds, no matter the host or VM, all of the network connection was gone. But after a few seconds, about 5 seconds, then all the network connection can automatically came back, only a very very few times, it would lost network connection all the time unless I shut down my computer(I don't have restart button to perform cold restart). I can ensure it was not host crashed, because I can mannual use power button to shut down my computer.

CPU: i3-8100
Mother Board: ASRock H310CM-ITX

Have anyone met the same issue?

did you look in the syslog after the network issue? probably there's some clue in there

of the top off my head, i remember a e1000 driver hang. it could be the same or a similar issue. take a look here[0] for description and here[1] for possible workaround. IIRC it should be fixed in the latest kernels so maybe you need to update.
