Existing post install script doesn't work on version 9. Wonder if anyone managed to adjust it to work with 9-beta yet.

There is no official post-install script, nor is there one definitive post-install script. However, there are various community-created scripts out there that perform different tasks. I suggest reaching out to the maintainers of your preferred script to ask if and when an updated version for PVE 9 can be expected.
