Hallo,
the major reason I use ZFS is, that I will save my data for bit-rot. HW is a server with ECC-RAM.
For VMs and Storage it is clear, that I need at least a ZFS-Mirror to be save of bit-rot.

But what part plays the PVE-Installation. Is here a ZFS-Mirror also nessesary, that I don't get bit failaires from the hypervisor to the VMs or the Storage.

mirror is not necessary, you can select the RAID level or skip it to have a regular pool during the installation.
you can still mirror the root partition if you want more redundancy, but generally this isn't necessary.
if you have multiple disks available, you could create a regular pool as rootfs and use the rest of your disks in a mirrored setup.

hope this helps!
