[SOLVED] pve-firewall Status: enabled/stopped

Hi,

Version: 3.4-14/793d1699

I have the pve firewall enabled at the datacenter level and also the node level, but pve-firewall is not currently running?

pve-firewall status
Status: enabled/stopped

Its also enabled in /etc/default/pve-firewall

START_FIREWALL=yes

​

Is there anywhere else it should be enabled - I have just rebooted the proxmox machine and it did not make any difference. I understand I can start it manually, but wanted to confirm if there is anything else that should be changed?

my mistake - I had removed /etc/init.d/pve-firewall whilst testing. all working now.
