PVE 8 Upgrade Issue

Hello,

I upgraded 2 of my 3 nodes successfully following the documentation found here: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Upgrade_from_7_to_8

However on my final node it does not find the LVM when it boots. I get an error stating that /dev/mapper/pve-root does not exist. When I look at the contents of /dev/mapper from initramfs it does not exist. However, when I boot to the previous kernel with Grub, PVE boots. My local LVM does not map either but I can see it with lsblk and, pve-root does exist in /dev/mapper.

When I do an lvs, vgs, or a pvs it shows my iscsi disk as the lvm. I double checked the multipath.conf and verified it is still correct. So my question is two-fold. How do I get PVE to use the proper local lvm again, and then how to I get that setting to carry over into the PVE 8 kernel?
