PVE 8.4 Keeps Crashing!

Within 12 hours, my PVE server crashed twice! The server was almost ideal when it crashed. In both cases, I got these error messages on the console:



The PVE is version 8.4 and the kernel is 6.14. The PVE and the LVM partition are on a Samsung 990 EVO M.2 SSD connected to the server's internal USB 3.0 port. Any suggestion please on how to figure out the problem here?

How is your storage configured ? Hardware / filesystem / etc.

Looks like you have a storage-related problem, so all the details about that would help.

maybe your evo is dead ? Don't use thes shitty evo drives on proxmox, you are going to burn them with pve sync writes.

Thank you guys. I was suspicious of the USB and thought it might not be suitable for the task, especially given the amount of short writes PVE does. I moved the SSD stick to a PCIe 8x adapter and installed Clover on the internal SD card to boot from the new PCIe drive. The server has been stable since then.
