Hi,
Wanted to install proxmox on a Dell VRTx platform with M520 blades. All blades have the same Perc H310 mini controller - the problem is that nor Proxmox, nor Debian 12.10 doesn't see the blade disks (2 disks in RAID1).
The shared perc8 VD also are not visible.

lspci below - it look like it's properly visible under Broadcom / LSI MegaRAID SAS 2008 [Falcon]

Now it look like it fails to load the driver.

I've tried 2 PVE ISOs - one booted directly from iDRAC console, 2nd via iVentoy (PXE Boot).
//EDIT: I've also tried with older PVE 8.2.2 ISO, but still the same thing failed to load driver...

Small update.
Tried the Proxmox 8.4 ISO - and it has installed flawlessly. All datastores are visible - Local Perc H310 on blades and also the shared perc 8 in chassis.

Hi,

even with the latest 8.4.1, it does not work IF you have 2 raid arrays.

We had here a R720XD with H310 controller and 2 arrays:

1x raid 1 with 2 disks
1x raid 50 with 12 disks

resulting in DMAR DMA errors and you wont see both arrays.

BUT if you remove the 2nd array, THEN you will see the 1st array.

We did not test if this has something to do with the raid level or number of used disks or if its a rainy day outside.

But removing the 2nd array, made the debian kernel see the 1st array.

After the install you can just add the 2nd array again and the installed system will just boot and show the 2nd array just normally.
