PVE 8.1 notification system

Where can I find documentation on the new 8.1 notification system? Specifically, I'm trying to get back the old behavior of backups done within the pve dashboard only sending email on error. With the new system, it seems like I get an email regardless of success/failure.

For the next person who see's this: I couldn't find any documentation on the "new way", but was able to revert my backup notification settings to "legacy" which works to not spam me for every successful backup. I'll have to force a failed backup to ensure I still get email from that. (If I don't, I'll be sure to complain here. lol )
