PVE 8.1 cant add disk on running CT

Hi All,

I recently upgrade 2 clusters from 7.4 to 8.1 and i got a problem to add new disks on running CT.

I cant add mount points neither on ZFS or CEPH datastore :

Parameter verification failed. (400)

mp1: unable to hotplug mp1: failed to move 'mp1' into container hierarchy: Permission denied

It works when the CT is stopped. It happens on existing or freshly created CT . CT are privileged ones.

I just came up against this and spent a day searching for solutions until I found this thread. For completeness, a bug report was raised here:

No, it doesn't look like the fix has been merged in yet.

The fix was applied in this commit:

This should be available once pve-container is bumped.
