Upgrading to PVE-7.x is not an option for the said installation as it has excessive customisation/extension.
A dummy install is maintained to test updates to provide support.
Production servers should not be indiscriminately upgraded - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Migrating containers and virtual machines across PVE versions is time consuming and generally not worth the effort especially with the rapid bumping up of the PVE versions.

These are debian updates that have been backported for Buster and have nothing to do with the Proxmox packages. There do not seem to be any more Proxmox updates and there won't be any compatibility tests from Proxmox (although it is quite rare that something breaks with these).

This is just to keep a record of the chronology of the updates from Buster as PVE 6 is still in vogue. The last referred update has updated openssl and may have some ciphers that may require a certain version of browser to be usable. Not expecting any testing from the Proxmox team but will help troubleshoot issues by and for the community.
