PVE 3.3 and pve-kernel.3.10.0-7-pve from prettiest fails to find VG pie on boot

Anyone successfully running pve-kernel 3.10 on their wheezy?

I wanted to test Ceph Giant performance vs on pve-kernel.2.6.32-37, so I installed pve-kernel.3.10.0-7-pve from pvetest repo, only on boot it fails to find volume group pve and thus doesn't boot
