Hi guys,

i wonder what solutions do / would you use to create a public cloud with ProxMox?

PMs HTTP GUI is not suitable for public users, because it reveals too much info about the cluster even with the most basic permissions.
There is also no automatic provisioning, payment processing, billing, etc.

Do you implement your own, maybe using libraries listed at: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Proxmox_VE_API ?
Or do you buy a proprietary solution like WHMCS and ProxMox module for it? If so, what do you use?

I suppose you speak of IaaS cloud with PVE? Yes, PVE is not designed for that. You can limit e.g. the storage space, but not the RAM or cores, so that every customer can set what he wants. On the forums, WHMCS is often discussed, but I never used it.

Building other kinds of clouds, e.g. PaaS or CaaS is independed of PVE and often comes with its own software stack including multi tenant options.
