Proxmox ZFS pool full causing io-error - how do I mount and free up space?

I'm not strong with Linux, but I think I have figured out that my ZFS pool ran out of space.

I noticed the issue when the TrueNAS VM the volume is attached just hangs at boot at the ix-zfs.service - import ZFS pools and the Proxox status = io-error.

I need help mounting it and freeing up space. I tried a new Debian 12 VM, installed OpenZFS and tried to mount it on that VM and it just hangs when I try to import it, and it immediately reports the Proxmox status of the Debian VM = io-error as well. So basically, it appears that mounting the ZFS volume hangs the VM.

Any suggestions/ideas how do I mount it so I can remove data when it just hangs the VM whenever I mount it?

Thanks in advance.
