I've been using Proxmox for about 6 months now and have come to love it. I had 4 VMs running when, after a "refresh" and "upgrade", it stopped booting up. I was asked to reboot the node after the last update and when I did , it failed to boot. I get the BIOS screen. I can't proceed further from the BIOS screen.
Maybe it has nothing to do with the upgrade. The SSD has been giving me some warnings. Occasionally, it has failed to boot because of corruption and running some repair commands fixed them. It's a mini-PC that's about 6 months old so I wasn't expecting a disk failure.
I'm wondering what my options are...
Can I repair the thin_data volumes?I don't know much about lvm, sectors, etc.
Should I re-install Proxmox and restore the VMs from the backups?
These are commands I ran from a Live Linux USB
$ sudo lvconvert --repair pve/data
no compatible roots found
Repair of thin metadata volume of thin pool pve/data failed (status:64). Manual repair required!
