so i think this may have been covered once or twice already, ive looked around and nothing ive seen has helped, i have a pc that i want to run proxmox on, it has a wifi adapter and the reason it has that is because the ethernet port is not working. ive been able to set up proxmox untill i get to the point where i need to connect to it over a web browser, i have no clue how to connect it to my router(belive me wifi is my last resort) and any threads etc ive found doesnt work, can someone help?

Proxmox is based on Debian, so you can follow any Debian 10/11 tutorial on how to setup wifi.
The main problem will be that most wifi chipsets won't allow the wifi interface to be bridged. If that wifi interface can't be bridged your host will be able to use it but no VM/LXC will have any network connection to your LAN or internet. If you got such a wifi chipset that doesn't allow briding your only option is to setup Proxmox using a routed or NAT configuration, where no briding is needed because your PVE host will work as a router and routes packets between the wifi interface and the bridge so the bridge doesn't need to be connected to anything. See here for an example of such a setup.

But in general you don't want to use wifi with servers. It got a bad latency, isn't very reliable and less secure. So might be worth to buy a secondhand intel NIC if you got a unused PCIe slot. A Intel Pro 1000 singleport Gbit NIC costs you less then 10 bucks with shipping and a decent Intel i350-T4 quad port Gbit NIC is available for around 35 bucks (but make sure not to buy a fake one).
