I wanted to test a ProxMox on my Desktop to see If I could go completely virtual on my work habits. It worked pretty well. I now work with Debian Lenny Desktop system that was built on top of ProxMox installation with command
apt-get install gnome-desktop-environment
Only problem I can see is that when I log in to ProxMox Control Panel DNS settings page gives this error...
[5751]ERR: 24: Error in Perl code: Can't use string ("") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /usr/share/pve-manager/root/system/dns.htm line 62.
So I have to manually set the DNS everytime I reboot.
Well worth the effort. I can now do so much more than before.
