Hello

I have a problem with fimeware and / or driver doe HP DL380.
When I install Proxmox, the entire process is done correctly.

But when I try to install debian 5.9 , debian does not have the driver and / or fimerware necessary
and gives me error can not you found the cd player
"Your installation CD-ROM Could not be mounted" visited several forums and just say it can be iso problem, but not on other machines so it installs fine.
"

I need to give a personalized particionamento disk with install debian firt or in the proxmox customize the Partitions

my question

1) you can customize the disk partition Proxmox Installer 1.9.How?
2) I do not understand what are the driver or fimerware has proxmox installer and do not have debian installed with the first work well and achieved the second does not

6 clarify that debian is installed on that machine well .-

Someone might suggest how to solve the problem.
1) either Proxmox customize installation for partitions or know that driver and / or fimerware has Proxmox is debian 5 not .

thank you very much

Hi,
your spacebar is broken?!

For partitioning: You can use the boot-params maxroot + swapspace to adjust the space for pve-data (but also the whole disk is taken). If you have a second spare-disk you can do an normal install - boot a live-cd like grml64 and save the content of pve-root and pve-data to the second disk (tar), remove the pve-vg and also the pv - create a new partition, an new pv - on that the pve-vg and the lv root and data. restore the data from the second disk and do an reboot - all should work.

Thank you very much for responding
Now test your proposal, not clear to me whether I can leave free diskspace to makenew logical partitionand then mount and/or work with DRDB.
I have a single disk in raid

From already thank you very much
