Proxmox WEB GUI Unavailable

Hi All, I have an issue that I have never seen anywhere else before... I have two servers in a Proxmox cluster. I am unable to access the web GUI unless I am pinging that Proxmox server. If I stop I lose connection and cannot reconnect until piping the server again. All VM communication works without any issue. Has anyone seen anything like this before?
 
maybe there is a duplicate mac/ip in your network? sounds definitely weird
 
I don't think I have ever seen anything like it before, I have checked to see if there are any duplicate IP addresses, I have also moved it into its own VLAN. I have also booted using a live ubuntu cd and tested just in case it was some kind of hardware issue but that was fine as well.
 
for anyone who comes access this in the future, make sure you set you CIDR correctly on your LInux VLAN.....:oops:
