Hello,

I have two Proxmox prod server with various VMs on it. I have a situation when the VMs shut down after a automatic backup and I have to start them manualy. On the first Proxmox its a Server 2012 VM and on another its Debian VM. The Debian VM is my main Router for internet and when that machine shuts down after the backup I loose internet connection. This happened twice in one month. Is there a solution for this problem.

Proxmox version is 4.4-5

Hi,

can you send the vm config and the pveversion.

You should update your system to the latest PVE 4.4.
There are many improvements in pve-qemu-kvm packages.

I was planing too, but the VMs being too busy I havent had the chance to perform it. I will do it and report the outcome.

Do you have an error message in the task area or in the backup job?

Also, what version of Debian are you running? Stretch (v9)?
No errors in the task area. After the backup completes successfully I had no errors. Debian version is 8. But I dont think this is Debian related since it happened with Windows Server 2012 R2 as well
