Proxmox VM Home Assistant Standby

Hallo zusammen,
ich bin neu in der Proxmox Welt und von einem Pi4 mit Home Assistant auf einen HP Elitedesk 705 G4 umgezogen. Habe per USB Stick Proxmox installiert und HomeAssistant in einer VM.

Nun das Problem:
Der EliteDesk geht nach einiger Zeit in einen Ruhemodus(?!), ist also nicht mehr über Netzwerk erreichbar, aber noch ein (wenn ich lokal einen Monitor anschließe, sieht man die Login Maske)

Gibt es hierfür eine Lösung? Der Server sollte ja dauerhaft übers Netzwerk erreichbar sein, damit die ganzen Automatisierungen auch laufen

Also Proxmox selbst geht nicht in den Standby. Ggf. mal gucken was da im BIOS/UEFI eingestellt ist und dort verschiedenste Power-Saving Features deaktivieren.

Ansonsten mal gucken ob der Elitedesk vielleicht eine Realtek r8178/8189 benutzt. Die ist mit PVE8 unzuverlässig und Nichterreichbarkeit kann dann auch einfach nur daran liegen, dass da die NIC den Dienst einstellt und nicht dass da der Rechner selbst in den Standby gehen würde.

hab mit dem Befehl lspci -nnk folgenden Adapter angezeigt bekommen (u.a.)

Monitor anschließen wenn du kein IPMI mit webKVM hast.

Und ja, das ist genau die NIC die Probleme macht. Musst du dann andere Treiber installieren. Siehe z.B.:

Ja, siehe die diversen Threads hier im Forum dazu. Z.B.:

1) Add non-free repository
2) Install pve-headers
3) reboot (maybe not necessary?)
4) Install r8168-dkms, r8169 automatically disabled (https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/r8168-dkms)
5) reboot

Also mit nano /etc/apt/sources.list deine Repos editieren und ein " non-free non-free-firmware" hinter die 3 Debian Repo Einträge setzen.
Dann ein apt update && apt install pve-headers r8168-dkms ausführen und rebooten.

So, habe mal hin und her getestet gestern Abend und nachdem die Schritte von dir nicht zum Erfolg geführt haben, folgendes versucht:

"Hinweis: damit die Meldung "failed to fetch" dauerhaft verschwindet, müssen Sie in der Datei /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pve-enterprise.list das Repository mit einer "#" auskommentieren:

#/etc/apt/sources.list.d/pve-enterprise.list "

Hierfür habe ich in der Datei '/etc/apt/sources.list.d/pve-enterprise.list' den Befehl hinzugefügt und gespeichert.

Auch das führte nicht zum Erfolg. Ich erhalte die Fehlermeldung:

Ich weiß nicht was du da bastelst. Du kannst in der GUI einfach alle Enterprise Repo Einträge disablen und die no-subscription aktivieren.

Sieht außerdem so aus, dass du da noch das alte PVE7 laufen hast. Probleme mit der NIC gab es erst mit PVE8. Debian 11 (Bullseye) hatte noch kein "non-free-firmware". Das ist erst mit Debian 12 (Bookworm) hinzugekommen.

Nach der Installation musst du entweder deine Subscription hinterlegen oder die Enterprise Repos deaktivieren und die No-Subscription hinzufügen. Dann funktionieren die Updates und Installation von Paketen.
