Proxmox VM crash during Nextcloud AIO update

Hi all,

I'm having an issue with my Proxmox server. I'm running Proxmox v.8.1.3, and I have a virtual machine running Ubuntu server 22.04.3 with Nextcloud AIO v
7.9.0 installed.
I've assigned the VM 12 GB of RAM (no ballooning) and 8 CPU cores. During normal operation, the VM uses up to 7GB of RAM, with the rest unused.
When I try to update Nextcloud AIO, Proxmox simply shuts down the VM during the update process. I've attached a log extract that shows this happening.
How can I fix this so that the VM doesn't crash during updates?

PS:
I've tried increasing the amount of RAM assigned to the VM, but that didn't fix the issue. I've also disabled ballooning, but that didn't fix it either. I've verified that the VM has enough disk space available, and I haven't found any hardware or software issues that could be causing the crash.

Proxmox didn't shut down your VM but killed the process because the node no longer had any RAM. Either the complete hypervisor or a VM. You have to give the VM less RAM or the node more RAM. But you can't give the VM the same amount or most of the RAM.

How much RAM does your node have?
