Hello,
I'm a newbie, and i've literally racked my brain out ive contacted the webhosting company and gave them my issue i was having.
I installed centos 7 on a proxmox vm installed cpanel and all the necessary license and other software that goes with web hosting. Then i setup the network, then had to disable the network to install cpanel, as required by the cpanel install in putty. After that went to my WHM control panel and setup the nameservers ns1 ns2 with the domains that they've been setup on the domain register.
None of the ns1 or ns2 would work, not even creating alias ip's on the server, nothing. I thought by adding these to the domain register and in whm the system would automatically create the ip's on the server, and when i checked the ip's on the server it was showing the ns1 ip and ns2 ip but when i ping them they would not be pingable outside the network only pingable inside the network.
What am i doing wrong or what step did i miss?
Also may someone can tell me how to setup the nameservers using my setup.
