PROXMOX Ver. 7.3 Hardware Compatibility

Good evening everyone (Italian time),
I can't find it in any forums/posts/documentation!

I would like to know if the hardware listed below is compatible for Proxmox VE version 7.3:
  1. Mother Board - Prime Z790-P D4 DDR4 Triple M.2 ATX Socket 1700
  2. RAM - 64GB Kit Vengeance LPX DDR4-3600 CL18 (2x32GB)
  3. CPU - CORE i7 13700K 3.4Ghz 16 Core Socket LGA1700
  4. SSD - 500GB SN770 WD Black M.2 NVMe 4.0
  5. HDD - 6TB WD GOLD Sata 6Gb/s 256MB

Thanks to everyone who can help me confirm this doubt.

Yes, i cannot see the reason why it should not work.

If you want to check if something is compatible:
1. look at the requirements https://www.proxmox.com/en/proxmox-ve/requirements
2. look in the manual of your motherboard and cpu and search for "virtualization" to see if you have all the virtualization features: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/13MANUAL/PRIME_PROART_TUF_GAMING_INTEL_700_Series_BIOS_EM_WEB_EN.pdf?model=PRIME Z790-P D4

Moreover Proxmox VE will tell you if kvm is not enabled.

Last weekend i try install on Asus Board - Prime B760 Plus D4 DDR4 Triple M.2 ATX Socket 1700, and proxmox dont install. I think due incompatible hardware, or hardware without drivers.
I tried install Debian 11 and proxmox but without sucess.

"no install" is not really specific.
Could you describe a little bit more what the problem is?

When and where do you have problems? While booting debian or promox iso? While installing?
Did you get a response with an error?

You appear to be using PVE installer and layered a self-installed X server on top of it.
While PVE is not an appliance in a full sense of that word, it is very much a purpose built virtualization solution, with somewhat minimal and controlled number of packages.
Once you venture to install something as major as X - you are taking all the responsibility for managing and maintaining the system. The issue you appear to be facing has nothing to do with PVE and an X specific forum is a better venue for searching for help.

hi friend, i just download iso from proxmox ve on site. and I want to install it on the machine.
I have another machine running proxmox, but with an i3 10100 cpu. this one installed without problems with the same iso, so I would like to know if this is a linux incompatibility with my hardware

the screenshot you posted shows a failure in startup of xorg-server server. xorg-server is NOT part of PVE ISO.
If you look at the screenshot it also directs you to a log file you can examine to get more information on why it failed.
Troubleshooting X-windows is a skill of its own, completely separate from Proxmox Installation and Configuration.

It is probably missing a working driver for intel 13th gen integrated GPU or is incompatible with it.

@COMALXD you can try the workaround presented here: https://www.rpiathome.com/2020/10/21/proxmox-6-2-1-installation-fails-after-dhcp-lease-obtained/
In your case you probably have to replace "intel" driver with "fbdev" instead of "amdgpu"
However I never tried this myself and don't know if it will still work for 7.3

Else you will have to wait for a newer ISO from either Debian or Proxmox which includes new enough drivers.

good point, I wrongly assumed the installation happened already and the failure occurred after. I did not read it as an installation error for some reason.
