Proxmox Veeam Worker Proxy issue

Hi all,

I have deployed 2 x Veeam Worker Proxies into a 2 host cluster which were working perfectly well up until today.

The only change made was to move the Veeam server itself to a different domain.

When the workers are fired up to take backups everything seems to be fine until the job tries to connect to the "Worker Core Service" which is now timing out after 300000 milliseconds and the job fails. Has anybody else ever seen this and any idea how to fix it ?

I have tried to deploy a replacement Worker, again, everything is fine until it tries to connect to the Worker Core Service which fails with a timeout.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe ask in the Veeam forum, they're very capable of solving Veeam related problems, which this is. I ran into A LOT of problems (PVE integration in Veeam seems like public beta software) and there was information there that helped.

I have managed to sort it, there were still disconnected nics on the server so after removing them the backups ran successfully.
