Proxmox VE Version:2.2-26/c1614c8c with attached NAS array backup rotation problem

Hi,

I have proxmox VE v2.2-26 connected to the NAS storage array. All is working well except from backup rotation. The array has 14 days period of snapshots set. The backup is done from proxmox web interface. When the 15th backup snapshot is going to be made an error occurs.

Where can I manually correct this problem ? I have seen some entries in the crontab. Is it a good way ? What is the best solution for such a situation ?

Here is the log:

ERROR: Backup of VM 100 failed - only 14 backup(s) allowed - please consider to remove old backup files.
INFO: Backup job finished with errors
TASK ERROR: job errors

The task is generated automatically from WEB. I think the --remove parameter has to be changed from 0 to 1, but the WEB interface does not allow it. Where should I change this to get backup rotation work as it should ?

if you use the "backup now" button, you need to remove the old files manually. the automatic deletion of old backups in only active if you run a scheduled task.

If you are running two backup jobs daily and your max backups = 5, will both automated backups respect this limit and delete jobs from the "other" backup?

ie. will AM_BACKUP of VM105 delete the backups from PM_BACKUP of VM105?
