[SOLVED] Proxmox VE is not connecting to Proxmox BS

Hi everyone
i have install the PBS and also created the data store by the name of Backup. path is /mnt/datastore/backups. Now i want to add the Proxmox backup server in Proxmox VE. i put the information with ip address and root user. but the backup PBS is showing as unknown in Proxmox VE. please help me.

Hey,

datastore has to be the name, not the path to where the data is saved. If you called the datastore backup you have to enter backup.

What version of PVE are you using? I have 6.3.6 but I cannot add PBS storage type to the node. Only through the command line. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place If possible - specify the path to add storage.
