Hi,
(soho server)
got new Toshiba Disk as 10 TB Data source, not a boot disk, connected via SATA on the motherborad
Manufacturer: MSI
Product Name: 990XA-GD55 (MS-7640)
also connected:
for disk in /dev/sd?; do echo "Gerät: $disk"; udevadm info --query=all --name=$disk | grep -E 'ID_MODEL=|ID_VENDOR='; echo; done
Gerät: /dev/sda
E: ID_MODEL=CT1000BX500SSD1
Gerät: /dev/sdb
E: ID_MODEL=Samsung_SSD_870_EVO_500GB
Gerät: /dev/sdc
E: ID_MODEL=CT2000MX500SSD1
Gerät: /dev/sdd
E: ID_MODEL=Samsung_SSD_840_EVO_120GB
Gerät: /dev/sde
E: ID_MODEL=Samsung_SSD_870_EVO_2TB
Gerät: /dev/sdf
E: ID_MODEL=TOSHIBA_HDWG11A
so... if the Toshiba disk ist connectedupon boot , the system freezes after the linux grub boot screen.
cursor blinks, nothing happens
if the Toshiba is disconnected , the system boots. after i connect the disk with hotplug, no problems.
Any ideas ?
