Morning guys and Gals,

im new to proxmox and trying to start off with a homelab, but im having this issue with installing, i follow the graphical install and all is fine but when it gets to the grub menu it dont show "proxmox" only Debian GNU/Linux, from what i can see from where others have done videos on it on youtube it should just show proxmox, could anyone please explain to me why this is happening or why. ( i have tried many reinstalls and none of them have worked)

Hi!

Could you post a screenshot of what you see? And just to be sure, the boot menu then also doesn't allow you to boot into a Proxmox VE installation, i.e., there's not just a seemingly wrong text there (Proxmox VE is a Debian derivative, so seeing some form of Debian strings can be fine).

Oh, and also just to be sure, you did the installation using the official ISO?

yes offical ISO downloaded from the website here and and burned to a Sandisk 32gb usb stick.
the image are too large for here, so i uploaded them instead.

Update: Ive just used the same install on a differnt server, and it worked straight off the bat no issue's at all.
