Hello PROXMOX community,
I have (hopfully) an easy question. I have installed a proxmox server with 5 VM. I can start and shutdown the VM manualy and I think this will work also with an "automatic shutdown service". After that, I want to shutdown the proxmox server. But I don't know how to implement this. I'm not a Linux freak so please if anyone has an idea, please tell in an easy way. didn't found helpful information for me to fix this problem.

thx

Hi Dietmar,

I thougt I'm in a froum for everybody to ask for help or help other. I don't expect answer like this "buy a commercial support" In the meantime I found the solution.

Thanky ou for your help

seems you did not expect a short answer - Dietmar sent you the command to execute to get what you want. So you asked and you got the answer, why do you complain?

read it again and try it.

Please read again - the answer is you should run the 'poweroff' command. That command initiates a clean system shutdown.
First, it stops all VMs, then it stops the node. I thought this is what you wanted to do?
