yesis it safe to upgrade from proxmox 8.1.4 to 8.4??
or 8.2.7 to 8.4?
ensure you have backups, if you are in a cluster migrate your guests away to other nodes, run "apt update; apt full-upgrade" in some kind of session (screen/tmux/...), reboot if the upgrade output doesn't contain any warnings or errors, migrate your guests back.and what is the safest way
I updated my proxmox and now i can see 8.4.8 version showing, its in cluster and we are going to add new node in next couple of months so wanted to exact ISO 8.4.8 so we need to need to upgrade all PROMOX if we are adding new Node into cluster so we can direct build new node with 8.4.8 versionthere only is one PVE 8.4 iso..
could you please share steps (procedure) and package to install Proxmox Offline Mirror?there is no newer iso, you should install updates on all nodes anyway so this makes no sense. if you want to install a specific snapshot of package versions you need to setup and manage that using Proxmox Offline Mirror or a similar tool.
As fabian has told you, just fully update all your nodes. Is there some major reason you can't do that?I updated my proxmox and now i can see 8.4.8 version
