Good morning, I'm having trouble installing Proxmox VE 8.4-1. I've installed Proxmox on six other PCs without any problems, but I just bought a new one and it's failing. I have an Asus Z790 Creators WiFi, with an i7-14700 and 128GB of DDR5 RAM. When I try to install Proxmox graphically, a black screen appears and says:

Loading Proxmox VE Installer
Loading initial RAM disk
Error: out of memory
Press any key to continue

After that, the PC doesn't do anything. ChatGPT told me it was probably too much RAM, and I tried leaving only one stick of RAM, but I get the same error.
I don't know what else to do.
Thank you very much for your help.

Hi!

Another user posted that they fixed their problem by upgrading and resetting the BIOS settings to default [0].

On another note, I just want to point out that the Intel 13th and 14th 700 and 900 are affected by a hardware bug, which causes them to self-destroy by over-voltage of cores in certain scenarios. It is highly advised to upgrade the BIOS firmware and/or install the microcode on them, as those contain fixes for the bug.
