I kindly request your assistance. I am concerned about the functioning of Proxmox when using its UI, as it occasionally displays connection errors in certain UI features. Upon checking the logs, I found an error related to the pveproxy. If anyone has encountered a similar issue, I would greatly appreciate your support and guidance. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi, this thread is marked "Solved" -- is this intentional and is the issue solved?

If yes, it would be great if you could share the solution you found.

If no, could you please post the output of pveversion -v?

oh no, I apologize for the confusion. I'm currently struggling with it.
This is all that shows up.

Hi, thanks. Note that you are running PVE 6.4, which is end-of-life [1] . The errors you're seeing are most likely related to bug 3807 [2] which is fixed in PVE 7 but not PVE 6. Anyway, according to the bug report, the error messages should be a cosmetic issue only, so I'd guess that the connection errors you're seeing have a different cause.

I'd suggest to upgrade to PVE 7 [3] and see if the issues persist.

Thank you for responding to my message. This is a clustered product, so the upgrade process needs careful consideration.
Is there a way to find a solution to this issue? In the 32-node cluster, I only see one node experiencing this problem, so I assume it's not related to the version.
Please help me.

Hi, according to the bug report and linked patch, the error message appears when a client (the browser) closes the connection unexpectedly while pveproxy is sending the reponse. This matches your description of occasional connection errors in the UI. So you would need to find out why the browser occasionally closes the connection. For that, you could have a look at the browser console, look for connection errors and find out why they are dropped. Maybe there is some networking issue (firewall, malfunctioning proxy?) that causes these connection errors?

In any case, I would still suggest to upgrade to PVE7 as soon as possible, as PVE 6 does not get package updates and is not supported anymore.
