[SOLVED] proxmox VE 6.0-4 zfs root ends in busybox

After succesful installation from USB-stick, the reboot ends in busybox.
Busybox reported that rpool could not be imported and gave the hint to enter:

zpool import -N rpool

This succeeded without error, leaving Busybox by "exit" gave a succesful start of PVE.

I tried the 2 suggestions (1-by-1) given in the wiki, but they do not permanently solve this issue.

Currently I have this problem with 3 new Fujitsu rack servers.
Can anyone help to solve this problem ?

Could you maybe post the text output leading to the busybox prompt - if not possible as text then as a screenshot?

else - maybe this helps - https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/p...-rpool-race-to-import-fail.56265/#post-259463

That worked ! I made a movie using the RMC (Remote Management Controller), but that might be too big to post.
I will try to get the specific output as close as possible, leading to this problem, as also some machine info.
Thank you very much, getting more and more convinced that my choice to go for PVE last year was a good one.

Glad your issue is resolved! Please mark the thread as 'SOLVED' so that others know what to expect. Thanks!

After succeful installation of PVE 6 on raidz1 with 4x SATA HDD, the boot stranded in busybox.
It appeared to be enough to enter: "zpool import -N rpool" followed by "exit" to proceed to PVE.
Then I edited /etc/kernel/cmdline and added "rootdelay=10" to the only textline in this file.
After this change I ran "pve-efiboot-tool refresh" followed by "reboot".
The boot process succeeded then fine and all is working as expected.
Many thanks to Stoiko Ivanov to point me into this direction.
