Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to copy a virtual machine from a 32bits Proxmox VE installation to a 64bits Proxmox VE installation using OpenVZ ?
(If OpenVZ share the host linux core, will it install i386 packages into the virtual machine ?)

The second question is about the v2, is a way exists for import virtual machine from v1.x to v2.x Proxmox VE Installation (if 32bits to 64bits will not work we suppose 64bits to 64bits).

Thanks you !

You can run any OpenVZ container on Proxmox VE.

But, OpenVZ share the linux core for run the virtual machines isn't it ?
So, if the host is 64bits server, is the virtual OpenVZ machine will install amd64 packages ?
... If yes, it will make a problem if i copy this virtual machine to a 32bits host ?

OpenVZ can safely run 32bit virtual machines as well. There are plenty of kernel hacks to do exactly that.
