Proxmox v2.0 couldnot able set network to vm for winxp

Current configuration


auto vmbr0
iface vmbr0 inet static
address 203.123.179.222
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 203.123.179.1
bridge_ports eth0
bridge_stp off
bridge_fd 0

I have create winxp vm

In the VM
winxp i have assign below ip address

address 203.123.179.221
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 203.123.179.222
i could not able to ping outside

can any one help me to set this ?
