I have a proxmox server setup at home, v7.3.3. I run a couple of VMs 3-5, mainly to run noncommercial projects. Recently I noticed that when logging into the GUI, I got a pop-up saying I need to subscribe.

I thought the community edition was supposed to be free. When did this change?

I think the notification was added in PVE 3.1 ("display subscription status after login"). It's still free and all features are present. The main difference is that the free (no-subscription) version gets updates earlier.

After I posted this, I googled some things I noticed and discovered about the updates being earlier... which is ok, since this is a test server... if I were running prod I would get the Community Sub. Thanks for the reply, however.
