Hi,
I need some suggestions on new server’s storage setup. My platform is Supermicro X10 board with two CPUs and plenty of RAM. The VMs will be stored on NVME 2TB drive backed up on external NAS server with RAID-5 HDD storage. Now, I’m not sure how should I setup startup disk for the host system itself. I would not like to have it on a single SSD for failure protection. I would apply two SATA SSD drives in RAID-1 setup, but I’m not sure how should I setup it - using BIOS or Proxmox system itself. Could you please advise?
Thanks, Krzysztof
