Mar 16 11:22:09 named 1525 unexpected RCODE (SERVFAIL) resolving '207.34.55.65.list.dsbl.org/A/IN': 212.3.160.29#53

Am getting a lot of dropped connections - also alot of these errors in the log.

Any ideas?

DSBL is no longer online. You should update to the latest release (we will release today).

Thanks for that, I put the service pack on last night and it has cleared those errors.

I've got about 50 e-mails sitting in our queue with various errors:

Mon Mar 16 19:42:23 4 MAILER-DAEMON z.sch***l@dunlop.de
SMTP RESULT: lost connection with m1.goodyear.com[12.4.195.146] while sending RCPT TO

SMTP RESULT: lost connection with inbound.meghmani.com.netsolmail.net[205.178.149.7] while receiving the initial server greeting

What is this likely to be?

Such failures are quite normal (temporary network problems) - but SMTP tries to send serveal times, so this is no problem at all.

I seem to be getting this problem appearing a lot of certain domains. They get queued for days:

maybe network problems (including firewall issues)?

see this thread: (very long and strange issues - resolution: bug in the third party firewall)
