Hello to Proxmox team,
first, thanks from the community for your great job!
some Ideas for next releases Features / Feedbacks
1. more options for LXC
a. option to select target storage for migration (both CLI and FUI)
b. option to do Live migration and not only restart mode (criu?)
c. better CPU load and Disks info isolate
d. option to access container files from Disk image if "dead"
2. consider additional container type, Docker / Intel Clear Containers / virtuozzo 7 Open Source
3. Ceph v13 already stable

anyone can also add and suggest on that post :)

Thanks again!
have a nice weekend.

1. more options for LXC

Such as?

a. option to select target storage for migration (both CLI and FUI)

Why? Why not just move the disk to the target storage and then migrate or the other way round?

b. option to do Live migration and not only restart mode (criu?)

In April 2017, @fabian said LXC live migration is not stable enough yet. What I understand from his post is that it's not up to Proxmox to fix but that other LXC-oriented projects have to work to make it more stable.

2. consider additional container type, Docker / Intel Clear Containers / virtuozzo 7 Open Source

These are meant to be run in VMs, which is exactly what you run on Proxmox. Proxmox' developers have stated earlier they're not planning to support these kinds of virtualization techniques.

a. Incremental backups
b. Reduce disk volume
c. GUI support for adding external disk (nfs / network share)
d. Storage QoS
and maybe the community can suggest additional features

Why? Why not just move the disk to the target storage and then migrate or the other way round?
the problem is that if you try to migrate from local disk to NAS or Ceph sotrage it's just not working and not supported in LXC, you have to do backup, remove the node and restore it on the target storage, Curved, eh?

In April 2017, @fabian said LXC live migration is not stable enough yet
Both Proxmox and criu updated lot in the last 1+ Year, so maybe it's already enough to add it for beta repo

one of the big benefits of Container types is that you don't have the layer hypervisor layer, adding it over KVM remove one of the big benefits of it.
also it's was working with OpenVZ6 and Proxmox team can reconsider the feature roadmap reading to adding new containers / ve technology

anyway, thanks for that feedback and I hope my response make it more clear :)
