Proxmox restart or shutdown issue

Hi

When ever I restart or shutdown.. It takes long time and get struck here as per screenshot attached..

I have win11 vm running in auto mode. But qemu is default disabled

How to resolve and get smooth restart or shutdown?

Hi,
upon shutdown of the host, all the running guests are tried to be shutdown gracefully. That is the delay you are seeing. For graceful shutdowns of the Windows VM to work, make sure to install and enable the qemu guest agent, see https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Windows_2022_guest_best_practices#Install_Guest_Agent_and_Services
