Hi all.

I virtualized Proxmox on Vcenter. I can virtualize Windows XP PRO on Proxmox . However I got a BSOD with Windows Server 2008 setup

Are there any issues with that kind of architecture and virtualization (Win2k8 on Proxmox on vCenter) ?

Thanks for your help.

Why would you virtualize a virtualization OS, aside from basic testing to see if you want to go that route?

But you are already using esx?

That doesn't make any sense to me to virtualize an os intended to replace esx

Yes, i run a virtual proxmox inside esx.

I found the problem, 64 bits Windows Serv 2008 doesn't work, only 32 bits (so no r2)

But why wouldn't you just run esx and build out your windows VMS on it or switch fully to proxmox. What is your reason for virtualizing proxmox

You are being very vague with your answers. Why are you forced to use esx?
