I have 8 of these FitPC3 units. They have a massive aluminum heatsink, and sip about 18w.

My goal is to use them as a VPN endpoints and AdGuard/PiHole boxes that I can hand out to my family. They run AMD G-T56N dual core processors, have 4gb of ram currently although I can put 8gb or 16gb in them. They have 64gb Sata SSD's in them.

I have updated the BIOS, I have tried various settings of Legacy and UEFI boot. I have tried all the different options available when the initial (using the 8.2-1 installer) Proxmox installation menu pops up, and the debug modes.

Looking through Reddit posts past, I have seen people who have installed on thin clients using the same APU, so it would seem possible. I am sure I am doing something wrong, but this is my first real attempt at home serving and I am not sure where to start. The boxes came with LibreElec I believe it is called installed on them but I really want to do the Proxmox thing.

I have seen mentions of pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 or F2 or F3 after selecting and seeming to go to a black screen, none of these have yielded any results for me. The unit seems to lock up after saying it is loading the Initial RAMdisk and clearing the screen. I have run memory tests and they seem to run through fine as well. I tried the stock installers for 3.4, 4.4, 5.4, 6.4, 7.0-2, 7.1-1, 7.2-1, 7.3-1, 7.4-1, and 8.2-1.
