Hi,

I try successfully to install Debian Lenny (and after that, proxmox 1.7) on Apple XServe, dual Xeon 2.0 GHz.
It seems to work fine, I'm planning to insert this machine in my little cluster.

The only problem is that KVM refuse to work because said that I have no Intel VZ extensions in my BIOS.
But, this machine comes with a proprietary firmware (Apple EFI) replaced by an open source alternative: rEFIT (http://refit.sourceforge.net/). Refit has no Bios so I'm stuck at this point...

Does anybody help me?
Thanks!

Hi,
do you see the vt-flag at the processor?
Code:
[FONT=monospace]
[/FONT]grep -E 'svm|vmx' /proc/cpuinfo

This is the result:

Apple in a KB note said that Intel VT extensions are enabled by default on Intel Apple machine: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2744
