Hi,
Proxmox 7.1-10
Shares mounted as directory.
3 shares on Proxmox that are on my Unraid Server. All are mounted as directories using cifs.
2 shares on Proxmox are used for backup with no issues. They are set with "cache" turned to off on Unraid. Zero issues, I have it in fstab and they mount on boot up or if I run "mount -a".
1 share on Proxmox is a test share that I want to have the "cache" setting (Unraid) on for.
When I turn the "cache" setting on, Proxmox GUI displays a question mark and is unable to see the drive. I try to navigate to it via CLI, I don't see the contents of the share.
If I turn the "cache" setting off, Proxmox instantly sees it and has zero issues using it.
If I try to add the 1 share to Proxmox with cache turn on, I get this error "create storage failed: mkdir /mnt/Unraid-Test: File exists at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/Plugin.pm line 1292. (500)"
The "cache" setting turned on works for every device I have except Proxmox. So the issue appears to be with Proxmox.
Anyone have any ideas? My goal here is to take advantage of the two SSDs and gigabit LAN speeds.
