Proxmox network security

Hello,
My question was if proxmox can work in production without pfsense or opnsense for the security of network in case of nat.
I have read some post and i think that is a best install with opnsense or pfsense.
If you have advice , you're welcome.

Hi,

pfsense and opnsense focused on networking. Proxmox VE is focused on virtualization.
You can do every network job with a plain PVE if you know how.
The point is Network focused distributions are easier to manage.
